Do I need to do anything to the cake dummy edges?

Learned this at ICES, too. Take a fine sanding sponge and slightly round the edges. If you are using fondant on the dummy, it will keep it from tearing.

What worked the best for me was using an emory board! I used one of the bigger ones for acrylics!!!

I've pressed mine to the countertop to round off the edges. icon_smile.gif

You're welcome! I tried rolling mine on my counter top and even using a small rolling pin but I just couldn't keep my edges consistent! At least with the emory board I could control it more!

Good luck!!! thumbs_up.gif
