ok she wants this cake in these colors BUT I told her I can't do roses I've tried and they suck! SOOOO I need ideas on what to replace the roses with! Thought about a bigger '50' but not sure

ANY IDEA thanks

btw she's coming over today to give me the depost not picking UP the cake.... So I don't have to make it now just have to have the idea.

How about drop flowers in pink with black centers?? Or can you do fondant roses or other fondant flowers??

can you do the fondant ribbon roses?? they are sooo easy and quick!! those would look great on this cake!! you could do them in pink and black.

Larger writing and some drop flowers like Miss T said should look nice.

OK silly question but I've never made roses from fondant how do you do that?

Drop flowers are you talking the flowers like from the star tip?

Oh and the cake is due 8/5

How about a chocolate mold ? Just unmold them and pop them on the cake....

Do you have any cake decorating stores near you? I do & they carry many colors of royal icing roses - and they can take orders for certain colors since they make everything on site. Or, have you considered using real roses?

Yep!! Drop flowers from the star tip would work. If you want, you could add a little swirl to them.
