Ok, a customer just asked me to make a 3-d dump truck. I looked in the gallery and there are a lot of pics, but I have no idea how they did them. Should I just use a loaf pan and cut it out? Does anyone have any great suggestions on how to make this dump truck? Any help is appreciated!

Thanks,

I used a loaf pan and also pound cake too. I do have some pics that I took before I iced it. I figure I should take pics incase I had to make another one. Plus hubby helped me with it too. You can email me if you want the pics.

I think it just depends on what size you want the cake to be.
When I made a fire truck, I wanted it wider than the loaf pan. I made 10" squares and cut them in half and stacked them until I got the height I wanted.
However, I have seen many vehicle cakes that looked great that were made from loaf pans.
