HI all,

I was watching the Foodnetwork cake challenge last night (2nd time watching). Just love these shows! BTW, congratulations Rebecca (CakeBaker) on the win! Anyway, during the show, the channel advertised a new show with 'Charm City Cakes' Duff Goldman. It is going to be called 'Ace of Cakes'. Duff will be hosting the show. I believe it starts airing in Sept.

Just thought ya'll wanted to know!

Actually the show starts in August but I cannot remember the exact date! Even sooner than you thought!

The show starts August 17th, at 10:30.....

I just looked it up in the fall lineup!

Yes, this guy is awesome. I saw his website and he has AMAZING cakes....cannot remember his webite adress though.

I will watch this show only because it's all about cakes.
Honestly I really don't like Duff. In the past cake challenges,
he just seemd not serious enough about what he was doing, compared to Colette or Mike (Mike's Amazing Cakes) and all the others who were just so deligent (?) with their cake. I don't hate him, I just don't find his style
comparable with his previous co-competitors or the other Pasrty Chefs who have appeared and competed against him in the past cake challenges . Just my opinion .. icon_smile.gif

I can't wait!!!

I hate when cake decorators use Flash for their website though - I can't download anything at work and therefore I can't see their site!!!

NOTE TO ALL: if you make a website and want to use Flash, make sure you also have a NON-Flash website for people w/ old computers or those who aren't allowed to download or who are afraid to download stuff! That way they can at least SEE your site!

I also mentioned on the other thread that Duff annoys me a bit but I will watch the show because I am ALL about cakes....
