Airbrush - Which One Do You Use?

I am looking to buy an airbrush, but have no idea what's out there or what's good. So I'm doing some comparison shopping.

Airbrush city on Ebay has one for $50 and they say it's used by cake decorators. Has anyone had any experience with this brand? I don't want to spend a fortune, because I have never used one before. I don't even know if I'll like it.

trust me you will love workint with an airbrush and its worth it to buy a quality one. for me I like kopykake www.kopykake.com. and I wouldnt buy anything that feeds from the bottom. and does the one you are looking at on ebay come with the compressor because that alone can be very costly.

I have the airbrush from KopyKake as well.. love it, I was scared at 1st, now I wonder how I ever did without it... go for it if you can!

heather2780- I'm interested in getting an airbrush too. Why is an airbrush that feeds from the bottom not a good idea?

I think I am going to get the Kroma Jet set from KopyKake. I was reading another post about the PSI that you want it to be quite low so that it doesn't blow holes into your icing.

I've never used one before, so I'm excited to try it!

Airbrushes are so great to use! I also bought mine from KopyKake and LOVE it. Definitely worth the money to get a good one!

lisasweeta- for me I dont like the bottom feeders just because I like the freedom of being able to put my little dab of color into the top and use what I need and rinse with a little solution without having to fill up a bottle screw it on then take it off wash it out fill it up with the next color too many steps for me. I was looking at the airbrush on ebay from airbrush city and it doesnt come with a compressor so for me i wouldnt buy it you can get a good one from kopykake with a compressor starting at 150. good luck.
