Molly I have talked to people who use them .They say that it dries faster . The temp has to be lower on the fondant or the gumpaste. I don't rember which one or it will crack when drying.I am going to get one for my birthday and play around with it . I hope it works .Have a nice day!

I have an inexpensive food dehydrator - not a deluxe model. I also live in the swamp and have very high humidity. I tried MMF in the dehydrator and there was sufficient heat radiating up to keep the MMF soft, resulting in flattened pieces with the little grate marks from the dehydrator trays on the bottom icon_confused.gif The Wilton fondant did a bit better but still didn't dry quickly enough to not flatten out. The humidity is a huge factor, so others may have better luck. The way my dehydrator is made, I cannot get enough height to hang pieces from the top so that they don't touch anything - I have to place them flat on the trays.
