Im working on a clothesline cake...today icon_biggrin.gif nothing like last minute asking! Ive looked at several here and they all seem to have the same clothes on the line.....I take it they are froma cutter? If so where can I get them?I'll probably have to hand cut them this time.....but maybe for another cake icon_wink.gif

without having looked at the cakes you're referring to, I have seen onesie cookie cutters on ebay, if that helps.

You use the people fondant cutters and then just alter them a bit.

For the hat you use the "head" of the people cutter and cut it in half then add BC detail.

For the onesie you use the "shirt" of the people cutter and then take the head cutter to the bottom of the shirt to make the V where the legs come out.

I think all the other ones are easy to figure out.

The directions for that cake is in the 2006 Wilton Yearbook, if you have it.

Lol... I just re-read what I wrote "people cutter" sounds horrible but you know what I mean! icon_biggrin.gif

According to the Wilton yearbook which has a clothesline cake in it, the clothes are cut from the Wilton people fondant cutters which are in pieces - shirt, skirt, pants. The socks are the feet with the tops trimmed down. The hats are the head cutters trimmed down.

Hope this helps.

I did one with chocolate transfer clothing. I sketched some designs from cakes that I saw here and also used some scrapbook paper as inspiration.
