hey fellow disney fanatic

re: 21 @ disneyland....oh come on...it's the MAGICAL kingdom where all can be kids every day forever...so enjoy. we may grow old, but we don't have to grow up!

------------------------------------------

can you do color flow? or chocolate transfer?

if so, could find a coloring book page that has a pic of Ariel and Pr. Eric and then use photo copier to reduce it to about 1/2 size or so and make your own topper... could snaz it up in all kinds of ways.

nothing wrong with going to Disneyland at age 21 icon_eek.gif
I am DYING To go again, havent been since I was a toddler, and was due a few yrs ago- take whole family, then 2 marriages were on the rocks, wasnt appropriate so the kids (and me) lost out icon_lol.gif

here, Doug, don't know if this is what you mean,. are they like the frozen BCT? cept made with RI or choco? and then you stand em up in the top of the cake?
Anyway I'm thinkin this doesnt have to look 'childish' - if you make the sides of the cake stars or whatever instead of say the whole underwater scene- hey even if ya did the underwater scene, who cares- it's your birthday cake icon_wink.gif do what the heck ya want LOL so you make the characters like I think Doug means and stand em up in the cake- on top and the second layer (if it's round)

(PS Doug, see I CAN draw on paper- and it doesnt look any better icon_redface.gif )

edited because I forgot to finish my thought up there LOL

chocolate transfer is done like a color flow (outline, fill in) (WBH has instructions and several)

only it tastes better -- chocolate after all!

hey, that drawing is just fine!

I am not sure what to tell you about the cake icon_surprised.gif but I did want to pass along to you this Disney tip. Make sure you tell EVERYONE who works for Disney it is YOUR birthday. Tell the people at the front desk when you check in. tell the people in the restaurants.. tell all Disney employees! icon_lol.gificon_cool.gifthumbs_up.gif You may be surprised at how many treats you wind up with at the end of the day! Especially since it is a "milestone" birthday! princess.gifbirthday.gifparty.gif

I also am a Disneyland-been going since it opened and an annual passholder. I took my daughter at 6weeks old. Doesn't matter how old you are to love D-Land and have your party there. For my Daughters 30th, we had her party at the Plaza (where they have the B/D parties). She had a crown, made her own Mickey Cake and her pics with THE MOUSE!!! Enjoy yourself
