Decorating By mumof2 Updated 27 Jul 2006 , 11:34am by jinxy543210
I just received a call and I have to make 2 sheet cakes tomorrow for a guy that is changing jobs within the same company. He does not really have any hobbies and I am at a lost on how to decorate them. I do not use fondant so it will have to be something with icing. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!!!! TIA! He is not retiring.

What kind of work does he do? What kind of company is it?
ladders...climbing corporate ladders
ladders of success
-----------------------------
does this mean he gets to get out of cubicle and have an office w/ a view....if so...man at desk w/ view!
"He ain't a cubie anymore!"
(oh and could look so funny if could do sort of picasso cubist/blue pd or have rendition of painting like that on office wall...hmmmm or that could be the view out the window?!!?)
I think I'll hold off until I find out what industry he's in and whether or not the job move is lateral or a demotion or a promotion LOL (makes all the difference which way the ladder/staircase goes ![]()
well, I certainly hope we're not celebrating a demotion.
lateral: moving sidewalk?
Well no I would hope it's not one either, or I don't think that's something people celebrate anyway ![]()
Sure moving sidewalk if you're enterprising enough to take on a project like that - can ya sketch that please?
I know someone who made an exploding volcano. I'm sure one could make a cake that moves ![]()
You definitely need to find out more about the type of work he did. "We will miss you" is always a touching sentiment.
How about a grandfather clock that says "It's time for a change" that way it doesn't matter which direction he is going on his 'corporate ladder'.
Or the face of a quarter?
Or the face of a quarter?
I don't get it. What would that represent?
Change, the quarter would represent change... get it?
