One of my co-workers is leaving us and transferring to another state next week. I want to do a cake for him but I'm not sure what to do. I'd like to do something more personal than just a cake with flowers on it. He wants a strawberry cake with cream cheese icing. Here's a bit about him, any ideas anyone?

He is an RF Engineer for a major wireless carrier
He's moving to Colorado from Louisiana
He's originally from Burma (Myanmar)
He's a Canadian citizen

I really don't know too much more about him other than he is really funny and has a good sense of humor. He can't pronounce my name very well...calls me Rozanne. We have a good time working together. I'm going to miss him.

Okay, I couldn't really think of anything so I flipped though some old Wilton year books and here is a couple ideas :

1. A treelightful pan was used for this but you could just as easily draw it on a 1/4 sheet or 1/2 sheet cake.....a derrick is drawn on the cake with oil spurting forth from the top and down the sides, the message is " May your well be over-flowing. Good Luck!

2. A blue ribbon pan was used for this one but I think a round or square would work, a four leaf clover is drawn over the majority of the space and filled in green using the star tip and on top of that a horseshoe is drawn in yellow and filled in a star tip...the message is " Good Luck in you new job"

Hope maybe this at least gets some ideas going for you.

I don't know if the wireless company specializes in cell phones or not but you could do a cell phone with RF coming out ))) and then a message. Or maybe 2 cellphones...one in each state with the message between them.
