I am making the cake for my twins' baptism and am going to buy a sheet cake pan. I need to serve about 30 people and am wondering how much cake I will need to make. I looked at the previous post about cake servings, but didn't see anything about sheet cakes. I'm fairly new at this, and this is the largest cake I have attempted. Any pointers on making a cake this large is also appreciated!

Well....a 9x13 is supposed to serve 24. So.....I'd say it'd serve 40-44. It would serve 30 easily.

Good Luck!!

It's going to easily feed 35 if you cut five slices down the short side and seven across the long side. It will feed more than that too, you can cut it smaller.

I would go with an 11x15 for 30 servings. It will serve 26-35.

The 12x18 will serve 36-45.
