I'm not sure where you can buy one in Tennessee, but I have directions how to make them. My sister used these directions for her monogram topper, and it looked great!

Thank you, thank you so much.........I was really stressing this. It is going to be a surprise for the bride. I think this will be much better than those very expensive toppers. Are they pretty easy to make? Do you have a picture of her cake? Thanks a bunch, you are a lifesaver
Last May I made the monogram with royal icing ...
I had a cake to prepar with a lot of writing to put on it. I print my lettering with the computer, cover the sheet with waxed paper, and trace all the letters with royal icing. In the top letters I have put a lollipop stick (to insert easy in the cake) When the icing was hard I have put pearl dust mixed with vodka on it... Look at the picture ...

Here's another place that has several options for monogrammed cake toppers.
I don't know where they are located, but I do believe that they have express service available.
Maybe you can check it out...

I can get a picture from her this evening, but the cake pic I have in my photos was taken before they got there with the topper. It was very pretty, and only took her a couple of hours to make. Didn't cost very much either. She got everything for it at Michael's.
luv2cake: thanks, I will check out the site
jen1977: my email address is [email protected], please email a pic, I am going to Michaels tonight so I will see what they have, thanks again
I've emailed my sister, but probably won't hear from her til later. She's teaching at a summer program, but I'll send it to you when I get it. They look like the pics in the link, except she didn't want hers to stand up...they sat flat on the top of the cake. It didn't look cheap at all, very elegant!
I don't know where you are in TN but last weekend, DH and I drove to Memphis to Mary Carter's on Summer Avenue and they have the most gorgeous silver monograms that are $10 a letter. They're in the book and the people that own it are just amazingly wonderful people. Her whole store is a treasure trove! HTH!
