cakesbyjess recently posting on another thread that scrumptions.com stole a pic of hers and has it on their website so i emailed them asking if all the cakes on their website is made by them and here is what they said.

Yes, they are all baked and decorated by us.

I cant believe they would do this. maybe others should check out their website to see if any of their pics are posted.

When I looked at it, kidscakes, and wedding cakes would not open

are you talking about on scrumptions website? I just went on and it worked fine.

so I have seen the posts on these cakes in question, but haven't seen the two cakes in question. Do you have a side by side comparison of the cakes?

here is the link to the 1 on scrumptions.com. only about 2 days ago i saw the pic on cakesbyjess gallery and now its not there, dont know what happened. it was the same pic. not sure why she removed it.

on their site its called candy palette, second row last cake.

well, that is odd that she removed it. I can't get a real close up of the one on scrumptions, but the icing is VERY smooth looking, something that is not easily accomplished, so whoever made it did a really good job!

I believe they've been notified and people have been emailing them complaining about the pics, so they probably removed the ones in question.

I'm going to lock this thread for the same reasons as the other on this topic. I don't want there to be any hurt feelings/accusations which can result from this type of discussion.
