hello everyone, I have an order for a baby bottle for this up coming Saturday. It will be a doctored lemon cake with raspberry filing. Now, my questions is, do I fill the cake first and then cut it in half to make the shape of the bottle? sorry for this dumb question, but still a rookie! icon_biggrin.gif
I'm assuming I should then use buttercream to have it all stick together, right? Thanks for your help.

I've never done it either way. My guess would be to fill it then cut it out only because your two layers will stay perfectly matched up.
