I have class today in about 3 hours.
I need to make Royal Icing and I dont have any meringue powder.
Is there anything else I can use.
Please help!!! TIA
In my class last night, I was told that "in a pinch" if I didn't have any powder, I could use an egg white and a little cream of tarter... HTH
I forgot to say that it is for course 3 for flowers.
I could do the egg white but I have no cream of tarter.

leave out the cream of tarter maybe if you don't have it.....
Royal Icing
INGREDIENTS:
4 egg whites
4 cups sifted confectioners' sugar
1 teaspoon lemon extract
DIRECTIONS:
1. Beat egg whites in clean, large bowl with mixer at high speed until foamy. Gradually add sugar and lemon extract. Beat at high speed until thickened.
