Welcome aboard, Al_iCe, you won't find a better place to get help with cake decorating. Although you might find that you need help with the addiction, LOL. Everyone's right, the gallery is a great place to start. You can use ideas from different cakes to create your own. Make sure you post a picture of the finished cake.

I am 15 years old and love to bake and cook. I am recently trying to make a fondant cake for a 8-year old girl that I babysit. Hawever, I don't really have any ideas. Can you help?

Oy, Alice, welcome to the addiction (gee I just started months ago and I just became a regular member, which somehow seems wrong since I don't know jack sh*t still about anything HAHAHA)
Yeah ditto on the surfing the galleries- TONS of ideas. But good idea about listing your charge's interests (in your own mind, or on paper) and having that in your head while you search. What 8 year old kid doesnt have hobbies or after school interests, or collection of dolls or favourite show or subject in school, sports etc.
15, wow that's great! lucky this addiction isnt bad for ya like smoking or something! Get em while they're young, YEAH!

I cracked myself up at your expense! I read the first post and then saw your avatar with a kids photo and the first thought in my head was 15 year olds shouldnt be posting their photo on the internet even a site like this it isnt safe (okay so i hadnt looked too carefully atr the photo) and then I saw the word jackshit in your post, and Im like what the heck? I wasnt like that when I was 15, and then I realised that you didnt write the original post

ROFLMAO- That's TFF! No worries! THat's funny! Giggling over here! (And you're right, no site is safe. I have an interview this afternoon about doing a project within the community to help create awareness and reduce child sexual exploitation.)
