Help With Fosting That Can Be Easily Smooth Out

Hi, i need help with a frosting that can be easily smooth out on a cake. I last use whipped buttercream frosting but it was too difficult to smooth out. Would whipped cream frosting help. Please give receipe. 2nd time baking a cake.

Since it is only your second time making a cake...I don't think anybody would expect your frosting to be smooth. Smooth frosting comes from practice,patience and learning some really good tricks and techniques.Check out the articles section on frosting a cake "upside down" method. Also the Viva paper towel method. Hope this helps.
