Ok I am making a chocolate cake for a church thing tomorrow night. It's going to be a devil's food cake with chocolate fudge pudding filling with chocolate ganache on top. So I was wondering whether or not to put it all together now and just stick it in the fridge til tomorrow night or to just put it together tomorrow afternoon and then stick it in the fridge til we go.
I also wanted to add that I don't really have time to freeze the cake and then thaw it out so if I just wrap it and stick it into the fridge, is that ok?

There's no need to refrigerate the cake layers.

After you fill and frost, then the cake will require refrigeration.
