It's hot here in Memphis to, only like 96 or so but we have so much humidity that I'm pretty sure it feels around 100+. I personally am looking very much forward to winter! Mainly, I'm sure because we only occasionally get snow and the rest of winter just wearing a heavy sweater will suffice. 
I left Ohio last week where it was 95+ with high humidity for San Diego, only to find unusually high heat and humidity there! Now I'm back and the heat index was 112 here today! At least in Ohio, we have air conditioners in our houses, unlike relatives in San Diego!
It's been this way for most of July. BUT...now that detasseling is done it is supposed to cool down a little...go figure.
LOL I was thinking this same thing today. It has been so warm here and detasseling is done in the next few days now and Thursday our high is in the low 80's (oh I CAN"T wait, doing a happy dance) And it is fair week so what a great way to start the fair.
Tomorrow is still suppose to be about 107 with heat index, last I heard anyways. The heat really isnt' bad it is that darn humidity.
OK, now this is insane!!!! It's 1:20 AM, and it is still 85 degrees outside!!!!!!!!! 
This is certainly ideal weather for having the oven on for hours and hours at a time!!! 
It's been averaging around 100 degrees, past couple days has been 102/103. But it's the humidity that is making it completely unbearable. I have two ac's going downstairs along with two fans to circulate but even that is making it barely comfortable.
Today was the hottest day yet this summer. The temperature was almost 100 and the heat index was well over 100. The humidity is 300%!!!! LOL! Our A/C has barely stopped running for 3 or 4 days now!!! It's awful having to turn on the oven (or even the clothes dryer, for that matter!) to bake!!! 
We hit 105 and with the heat index it was 115. according the the news we have one more day of it and some relief should be here by Friday. I, for one, am looking forward to winter.
In southwest Michigan, we are having 95 degrees with humidy. So, the heat index was 107 degrees. It has been like this for a week and the 1 or 2 days that okay and then it starts again. I'm doing any baking I don't have to. My house is like an oven as it is.
well i am in JAMAICA. (the west indies) its almost alwys hot. but we have been having some fraky weather. Its summer now (duh) 
and its hot. I had started to make some french butter cream and two times it just liquified on me. Had to go back t making swiss meringue. Its that hot.
