I know this has been covered and I saw some threads that the question was asked but didn't find the answer to my question.

I made RBC last weekend. I have a cake that I want to decorate today. RBC has been sitting on my counter in a ziploc bag in a sealed plastic container since I made it. Is it still good to use??

It feels fine and the flavor is not affected too much. Has a little (very little) flavor from the plastic in the Ziploc can I us it or do I need to make new stuff??

TIA,
Amanda

Yep, you can use it. As long as it's in an air tight container, you can keep it for a couple of weeks actually. I always make some extra for later.

Thank You!!!!!

I have plenty left and don't need a whole lot so I was praying that I didn't have to make a new batch!!
