I would like to buy some white icing base for my buttercream and Sugarcraft seems to be the only place online that I can find it. I've heard a few different things from people on here in regards to dealing with Sugarcraft. What I want to know is:
1. Even though the shipping and handling cost is rather high, is this just and estimate and the price will actually come down after I place an order?
2. Even if I order something and pay the 6-10 day shipping costs, will the item usually come earlier then that?
Thanks.
They are in Ohio so shipping should be pretty quick to you in Michigan. Shipping is pretty high but they were quick with my order and the shipping price quoted was accurate. I am adding some other links that carry the whitener, usually with the food colors.

Thanks for the quick response! I know CakemanOH's recipe for hi-ratio shortening buttercream calls for some of the white icing base. Just wondering whether to buy it or if I'll be fine leaving it out (I've already made it without the icing base and it turned out fine).
