I have wondered if the Fun Factory could be used with fondant. Has anybody used it? I would love to see some pictures!

I TRIED using it for my fondant, but, wasn't successful. I have much better luck with my KA pasta attachment.

I have the Playdoh fun factory, and have found that if I knead in a very small amount of Crisco to the fondant, I can make long fondant ropes with the fun factory. Easy cleanup!

Sometimes it does, although not often, because I take a humongous glob of fondant and kind of narrow it down as it's about to go through the tube. When it does, break I cut both pieces on a slant and solder them together with a little dab of water, working the edges with my fingers to eliminate the seam. I try to put the longest unbroken part at the front of the cake so that any defects are at the back. HTH!

I took PVC pipe tube and a put an end on another one to fit inside and put a sink drain peice on the bottom (I saw Duff with something like that). I'm still trying to work out the bugs, The fondant just sticks together when it comes out???? Still working on that though. It is really had to push through too.
