HI. I was wondering I am making a whipped topping and using it to decorate my cake ( piping etc) I don't want to leave it til the last minute so I was wondering once I have decorated it and all how can I put it in the fridge ( what kind of protection or wrapping) so that the cake and whipping doesn't dry out?

I just put my cakes in a cake box and put them in the fridge....if the lid doesn't close all the way, I wrap that area with plastic wrap.
