I know, there seems to be at least one of these a day, but I need help because this is my first cake order and I am CLUELESS!!! Ok, so it is the oval shape Wilton pan size 13 X 9...and I don't even know how many people that serves!! 2 layer, WASC w/Raspberry puree filling, covered in fondant with several GP decorations ( the decorations are in my gallery), so what do you think??

Thanks everyone!! icon_biggrin.gif

Earlenes chart says it feeds 40. So maybe $100-125?

40 3"x1"x4" servings
$150 plus the charge for the gumpaste figurines
I would charge $50 total for the figurines, so I would charge $200 total for the cake.

Also, I don't make anything w/o being paid first.

I'm never tired of pricing questions. Decorating a cake is easy compared to learning to deal with the financial end of it and dealing with customers and how to handle some of their strange requests. (Besides .... pricing questions usually have some pretty cool stories to go with 'em! icon_lol.gificon_lol.gif )

As long as I've been doing this, I've learned quite a bit re: pricing from this site!!! You don't have to be a 'newbie' to learn something new!
