I dunno, but a while. I have some that is in a ziplock on my shelves (probably should refrigerate it.. but it is water and marshamallow, they don't spoil) and I just zap it in the microwave when I want to use it. I have found the fresh stuff works the best but even old zapped mmf works good. Don't throw it out just because it is rock hard. 5-20 seconds depending on the size works great!

I knead in some crisco to my hardened mmf after a quick nuke. Just be careful you don't burn yourself - that stuff gets HOT fast!

I have made the Easy MMF and I found it great except for the fact that my loop bow won't dry. I made the bow Friday night. I also mixed up the MMF (melting marshmallows) yesterday but I haven't made anything with it yet. I can tell a difference in the pliability, but that may just be my fault in mixing too much or not enough powdered sugar.

I used circles this morning to decorate a cake but everyone just pulled them off and sat them aside. I feel like it is a waste of time and money but I love the look of fondant accent pieces and I will continue to use them. I am wanting to buy some more fondant tools already.
