I've been reading and browsing through some of the sites hosted by cake clubs in TX and cant find one within a good distance from me so I was thinking of maybe starting a small chapter here. I have a friend who is interested in it as well so I though I might as well put the thought out there to my fellow Texan CC'ers. Nothing has been really thought through yet, we have just discussed maybe meeting for lunch or tea one a month to chat and such. Anyone interested? I'm in Ellis county and as far as I know, the closest club is in McKinney. It would be very informal for anyone and everyone.
Do you have any info on the one in McKinney? (Where is Ellis Co.?)

Oh my gosh! I so didn't know there was a Mckinney chapter. Who do I contact? Where do they meet? When do they meet? Can you tell im excited. I absolutely have to find out or I think I will explode. I have lived in the same area for... well as long as I can remember and I have never heard of this before now. Anyone have any info? Im dying to know. Ok so im a little bit dramatic

The one that meets in Mckinney is Sugar Wonders. We are a great bunch and have meetings once a month. Tomorrow, Aug 11, I am actually teaching a workshop on Topsy Turvy cakes in the Sachse area. They meet the third Wednesday every month. Each meeting we try to have someone demonstrate or share a tip and try to have guest people when we can.
