Hi! I would like to introduce myself because I just found this site the other day and I think I'll be spending a lot of time here. icon_smile.gif
I took a Course 1 Wilton class and realized how fun cake decorating can be! I then went out and bought a few books on it and now I'm officially obsessed. I've only done a couple of cakes but you are all soooo right - its addicting! This website is bursting with information and I'm so excited that I found it! I thoroughly enjoy looking at the cakes everyone has done. They are amazing!

Anyway, I look forward to reading posts and viewing new cakes from you all!

Welcome! I too am new to cake decorating and this site has been so helpful with tips on technique, recipes, etc. Check out the lounge forum too because you can post about non-cake topics. Have fun with your new addiction!!

It's official! Your one of us now....hahaha. Seems like everyone can't get enough of this site. Your cakes are very nice and those strawberries w/ the coconut, YUMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!

Welcome~

I just joined the end of May and I love this site. I have learned so much and have been wanting to try more and more. I am fortunate to be off for the summer but I have to go back to work (school) in a couple of weeks. I will not have as much time because I also have two daughters with homework. I sure will miss not being able to spend as much time on this site.

The people are so friendly and helpful, so post away if you have any questions.

I just viewed your gallery and I love the cake you made your mom. Diabetes runs in our family too, so to see the effort you made to give your mom a treat was nice. I also love your strawberrys. Very creative. thumbs_up.gif

Welcome. Just a word of caution, you will need a 12 step program for this site, it is very addictive. Great thing this can be your 12 step.
