I thought I had seen some sort of cake display that was not columns or pillars but displayed something like 3 cakes.... They were held separately and at different heights.... Does anyone have any idea what I am talking about? I want to make 3 cakes for upcoming event but don't want them over each other. I don't have 3 different height pedestals.... What should I do...?

You can buy pedestals of different heights that match. I've seen them at Hobby Lobby. Or, you could use different heights of boxes or something like that and cover them with a pretty tablecloth or some fabric. Hope that helps!

Wilton makes a 3-tier stand that puts the cakes at different levels.

I have one, I bought it when it first came out. It is the metal one with plates. DO NOT BUY the plastic one with styrofoam!! That broke after one use for me.

jopalis check out the cake in my gallery it is on the wilton meteal round stands at the 3 different levels. I have used it a lot and love it.... I used my 40% coupon and it is worth the money I paid and saved... is this the one you are talking about? It is the cake that has the pink, red and white cakes, 2 round and 1 square.

here is the link to it:

I have the plastic one and have used it several times without it braking it is in my photos the wedding cake the one that the picture is so small and I can't make it larger. the cake was heavy and the stand held up great. It was also not the firt time that I used it.

glad I could help. I love this stand. I have used it bunches and even let a friend use it... and she assembled it just fine. It does well for cupcakes too. For DH's birthday party, I put her Uniqua round on it and I put the plates on one tier and the party hats on the other... so it is great! Have fun and enjoy it.. I actually think I am going to buy an extra one icon_smile.gif

Don't know if you have Hobby Lobby out there, but they have a 40% off any single item coupon you can print out on their website.

I am in L.A. County... up near Valencia/Santa Clarita. It is beautiful here. I have only lived in CA 4 years. Before that Columbus, OH and I was born and raised NYC.... We have a desert climate here. Hot and dry... cool nights. We are up in the mountains.... Will never get used to the fire season though.... Hopefully no big quakes either.... icon_eek.gif

A few of us that met on here got together a couple of weeks ago. Posted in the lounge (let me see you or something like that)... We are going to do it again in July in Burbank. Wanna come?
