I am looking for some help/instructions for carving a road into a tiered cake. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks

Are you trying to go for the look where the road is on just one cake or where the road winds around to the upper tiers?

I would freeze the cakes first. Frozen cakes cut better. Mark them off and carve them with a seretted knife. Someone gave me a cheese knife that is real nice for carving my cakes. The flat section of the road you will have to take out carefully to try and make the road flat. Use a pointy knife to get in there. Any boo boos can be covered with frosting and fondant. That's pretty much it.
