it's ground up ALMONDS w/ sugar...

if you like almonds.....yummy!!!

(who bothers to model with it....I eat it, straight from the tube! --- bad, me!)

Yes, definitely yummy as long as you like nuts/almonds. I can only eat a little bit at a time, but it's very good.

Thanks I thought that might be it.. I am very new to cake decorating I am a long way from marzipan but I was curious. Does is it dry? Can you still eat if it does?

dries some, but high oil content of almonds makes that a slow process.

in most cases will be eaten long before dry.

If you don't want the sculptures to get too hard, you can keep them in a covered container (like tupperware) until you're ready to use them. You can also coat them with a sugar glaze. That makes them shiny, but keeps them "chewy." I haven't tried the glaze yet.
