Dh and I haven't been away since our son was born 4 years ago. This week we decided we would do something for ourselves. His passion is fly fishing and mine decorating so we packed up our toys, dropped off our son with my mom and headed out for a trout stream.
DH went fishing within 2 minutes of our arrival 
and I spent the whole day UNINTERUPTED decorating. I made gumpaste flowers, tried out the ejector set from Wilton that I have had for years--still in the package, experimented with foam stamps on MMF, and in general had a great time!!! DH and I met up for a nice dinner and slept in until check out today!! I feel so refreshed! Just thought I would share my day with other mom's out there who would understand what its like!

It is supposed to rain this weekend and I already put in my request for cake day.... Oh twinsy I don't think so- It wasn't until recently that I discovered what a baby making machine you are!!! I thought the twins were all you had!! WRONG!

Zamode- It was my idea to begin with and it didn't take DH long to get on board with it It was perfect with one exception-hotels near trout streams rairly have 5 stars!!!!

NEW I know that, mine goes fishing every fall and I hear stories.....they don't care because they're men and spend all day in the stream.

Hubby and I try to do things together when we can...but lately we've been trying to do more things with our son. I work full time and hubby works full time and goes to school full time I miss my hubby!
We're in the final strech...hubby should hopefully graduate in November. He will be getting a BSBM (Bachelor's of Science Business Management)
It was a great break from the routine! DH is a band teacher and we are heading for band camp and marching season so I become a band widow until Dec. Thought we would spend a little time together before the season begins!
