I posted this under another topic but I really want some feedback so I thought I would ask this seperately. I bake from scratch and don't hesitate to tell people so. I make some fillings but am concerned about doing things like bavarian cream from scratch. In light of that, is it wrong to use a sleeve filling? Am I misleading my customers?

No, not unless you actually say that you make it from scratch.

I don't see anything wrong with that unless you tell the customer that you make everything from scratch. Most people don't care as long as it tastes good.

I don't think you are misleading the customer unless you intentionally lead them to believe you did something else. icon_rolleyes.gif Not sure if that makes sense.

Let me try again....LOL...as long as you don't outright lie or ignore their questions, you're good. Besides, there is nothing wrong with using the pre-made fillings. They last longer unrefrigerated, so they do serve a great purpose.

Good luck.
