I'm new at cake decorating and haven't taken a class yet, but plan too. I was wondering how 2 trim techniques are done. I have attached photos of the trim s. Do they have a name to them? Also, do you know of any good online videos or articles showing how certain trims are done. Anything would be helpful.

Thanks,

WELCOME!

top is a rope border

bottom a reverse shell

this site has pics: http://home.howstuffworks.com/how-to-bake-a-cake-cooking5.htm

they call the rope "interlocking shells"

pics about midpage.

welcome to CC! You will quickly find this is a great resource of information (and Doug is one of our many "very good" sources of great information!).

The warning about this being an addicting site is not a joke! You have been warned! icon_wink.gif

Hope to see/hear lots from you!
