Border Or No Border?

I'm doing plain cakes with a dark red ribbon around the base and white chocolate dipped strawberries around the bottom of each. The bride wants like 3 fresh roses on top of each icon_confused.gif --Couldn't get her to go with strawberries....

ANYWAY--

It seems kind of plain to have no top border, even just a tiny one. Should I put a small bead border, or--with ribbon around it, does it need to just be clean on top?

hmm

I agree with Monica - no border. The strawberries around the bottom will be complimented best with just the roses.

Sorry Doug - didn't mean to leave you out!!! I agree with what you said exactly. We must have posted at the same time. LOL

My vote is no border. But if at the time you feel it needs something, I guess bead work would be ok.

Sounds beautiful! Good luck.

I agree with you all, just checking...

I tried a practice run setup here today (it's for tonight), and yep--definitely no border.
