People here at work asked me this morning if there is such a gadget
that cuts sheet cakes (half or full sizes) into small squares that you can just push into the cake without using a knife to do the job ? I said no, but I have never seen one.. I have one for round cakes, but not for sheet cakes. They think it's too much work to cut such big cakes here at the office. It takes them so long to do it..is there such a gadget ?
thanks and have a nice week-end everyone.. icon_smile.gificon_smile.gif [

There are large impression mats that will press into the cake and leave marks where the cake should be cut, but I haven't seen anything that actually cuts the cake.

That would be cool though!

I've never had a problem cutting sheet cakes. Maybe they just need to get a bigger knife...I can't imagine why they are having trouble...most people like sheet cakes cause they are easier to serve. icon_biggrin.gifthumbs_up.gificon_biggrin.gif

I think Tupperware has one that cuts one square piece at a time but not the whole cake.

When I worked in restaurant way back when we used to have these grid metal cutters for sweet bars. The theory is you can push them down and cut them all at once-They sucked! You had to have super human strength to use them!

Guitar cutters.

But you can buy a bunch of knives for what a guitar cutter costs.
