My cake has three layers(10,8,6). All are 4 inches high. The 10 is on the bottom, then the 8. Then tiers with the 6 on top. They will be decorated with roses and Basketweave. I did a practice cake and my DH said my cake is WAY TOO CHUNKY and looks like a wishing well. When I did my practice cake, I didn't have all my gumpaste flowers finished so the cake wasn't complete. My question is, Will the extra flowers help hide the Chunky-ness? My DH really supports me, but is brutally honest which I love about him..Any help would be appreciated. BTW I love this website and you guys are AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

try to keep your tip as flat as possible and yes, flowers will make any cake look better. You will be fine.

I made a cake almost exactly like that except it was 12, 10 and 8. I think it is in my gallery (has daisies on it). I get sooo many compliments on it. It will be great!
