Has anyone tried to make MMF bows? Do they harden like regular fondant? I want to make a bow with several loops but wanted to check before I did it. I love the taste of MMF but haven't attempted to make bows with it yet. I have just used it to cover cakes and cookies with it.
Thanks,
Sandy

I haven't tried using MMF for bows but maybe adding gumtex to it would help shape it. I'm sure someone out there can help.

I made the bow on this cake with MMF. I think it turned out ok. I only use MMF so I don't know if it is as hard as regular fondant. But it did firm up good enough to work for me.

These were MMF bows I made a few days before the cake was due.

all of the bows in my pics are MMF--sometimes if it is humid I add fixodent to it to harden it up quicker
