3rd Birthday party for my nephew - his mother requested Star Wars and any/all balls. He LOVES balls, and Darth Vader. Baseball game using light sabers is the only thing I can come up with. Anyone have better ideas?

Supplies available:
Star Wars Legos
Light Saber Lollipops
Sports Ball pan
Wondermold

MMF
gumpaste

Needs to serve 20 good sized pieces. (About 2 mixes feeds this group.)

Thanks for the help!

star wars legos???
light saber lollipops??
...ok, seriously out of the world of toys loop!!!
LOL!!!!

star war's B-ball??? sounds hilarious!!! of course couldn't use a baseball, have to use that light saber flying training ball (stick it on a wire)!!!

star wars "king of the hill" (wondermold on top of soccer ball for a really big hill...darth vader at top of course)

circus act star wars -- all characters ballancing on a ball while trying to fight?

The boy's sister came up with DV and Luke standing on planets (balls) fighting. Good start, but how would I ice planets so they aren't plain?

I've done a couple Star Wars cakes...I don't have pics, though.

One was the "Death Star" - just a regular round cake - - and then I made cupcakes with "X-wing fighters" and the other kind of planes (don't remember what they're called) on them and put them around the Death Star, like they were fighting. I used the silver metallic cupcake liners.

The other one, I did a sheet and put a cut-out of Darth Vader's face on top of it. On the sheet, it looked like a starfield and the wording said, "A long, long time ago, in a place far, far away, Brett was born." (It was for my brother's 40th b-day.)

I can't think of how to incorporate balls into Star Wars - I think I'd go with one or the other.

Why don't you do one of Darth Vader and his minions (what ever you call the white robot things) playing baseball against Luke Skywalker and his team? Use the light saber lolly pops as bats.

Or you could make a Death Star cake out of the ball pan and put little planet "balls" around it - bubble gum balls of all sizes.

All great ideas! We are leaving for vacation, but I will have 3 days to make it when I get back. If I make mmf figures or gumpaste before we leave, they should be about ready when we get back, ya think?
