how do you make chocolate covered bananas? i imagine they woukd be a very last minute thing, right?

Nah. Cut the bananas in half, insert stick, freeze, dip (and add whatever embellishments you want). You serve them frozen so I assume they'll keep awhile. (Never had them around long enough to find out.)

Oh my god...I LOVE chocolate covered bananas....it's my favorite food in the whole world.

What I do is melt the chocolate and cut the bananas into big slices and then dip and place on parchment.....But I think the stick idea is a great one for the kids....and freezing the banana first would definitely make the chocolate set immediately!

What kind of choc do you use, I have tries magic shell and just plain melting choc.

Real chocolate (70% cocoa, good quality) with a touch of butter is all I'll use for CC bananas.
