The water looks awesome!
Definately leave the fish.

Maybe add a crab or something to the sand. and like doug said, the message will fill up the space.

I'm thinking maybe some brightly colored fish like a clown fish or maybe some green seaweed in a few places...just to give it a splash of color.

And, yes if you are going to be writing on it that will take up space too!

When I have seen dolphins there are usually 3 or more together. You could vary the heights they are out of the water too.

How about a palm tree and/or sand toys?

Looks beautiful. I love the mermaid idea. I was trying to think of what else would make sense in the water and thought about a sailboat. And/or you could do a beach umbrella on the sand. Depends on where you want the focus to be...to me it just needs a something tall and colorful somewhere.

I agree with the add more dolphin, but also, the size of the dolphin in relation to the size of the shells I think is what is throwing it off...one big mama dolphin would probably do it just right! Very good job though...beauriful cake and I know someone whose birthday is coming upo next week that would love this!

How about adding a palm tree or two and maybe a beach blanket/chair in the sand part. Also add larger dolphin and another baby one as they run in groups. Everything else looks great.

Water looks awsome! I say add 2 more fish. Things look better in odd numbers. Make them different colors.

I immediately thought of hibiscus flowers. I think it needs color. I love your water and it looks really awesome so far. I also liked the idea of the palm tree and the crab. I would think some sort of flower, anything that adds color would be great.

Well guys it's finished. I would like to thank you all for your help. I'm going to try another one with the flowers. I could not use the fish because my daughter had other plans for him. So...................... is this ok?
