Hello, what shape cake round or square? I would do 12,9, 6 for a round or 6,8,9 for square. I use Earlene's chart

I use this chart.. it'll give you serving size options for different sized cuts and a better way to cut your cake too.. it uses indydebi's cutting method.. http://forum.cakecentral.com/modules/Forums/files/cake_serving_guide_219.pdf I find that the traditional 1x2x4 piece really is a good size for a wedding.
Note: servings are 3"x1"x4" (12 cubic inches of cake)
Round: 7-10-14 gives 89 servings
Square: 6-9-12 gives 87 servings
Clipped-Corner Square: 6-10-14 gives 92 servings
Heart: 6-10-14 gives 93 servings
Oval: 7x5-10x7-13x9 gives 75 servings
Oval: 10x7-13x9-16x12 gives 115 servings
Petal: 9-12-15 gives 102 servings
Hexagon: 9-12-15 gives 128 servings
