I'm deperately in need of this kind of icing. I tried the Dream Whip one in the recipe section and didn't care for it at all! I need to make this cake today and am struggling to find something that will stand up to decorating, but is light and not too sugary. Any suggestions?
Thanks!

I'd like to know as well. Dreamwhip was good but had a gritty texture to me. Would love a whipped type icing too.

This is one that I love that I use on my Tiramisu cake : 2 cups heavy WHIPPING cream
1/4 cup confectioners sugar
I put the metal mixing bowl in the freezer first for about 10 minutes to get it very cold. Then put the cream in and beat on high speed / gradually add sugar until light and fluffy.
My husband hates icing but loves this recipe. Good luck!

Heychele,
Sounds great and I've made something like it, but can you decorate with it?
Thanks!

I just iced it smooth and decorated it with scrolls and piping. I don't think that it would hold up for roses although I can say that I didn't try.
