What would be a good price for this cake. Torted 9x13 with fresh strawberries and glaze. The doll is full size. The picture of the cake is in my photo album. My husband says $40 but I think that is waaayyy to much. Please help.

What???? Ok...I know prices vary state to state...but you are waaaaayyy underselling this cake........the base alone is like 35-40 servings....I would charge at LEAST $150.00 for this cake (in NY)...it is very pretty.

I would say $35-$40 would be reasonable.

charge the $40 and give hubby the difference between what you think is right and the $40.

that's definately at least a $40 cake!!!

I would say about $60, the cake is large and took a lot of work I am sure.

icon_surprised.gificon_eek.gif WOW! I am shocked. I would never have guessed to charge this much for the cake. My hubby is dancing in the background right now saying " I told you so"! He keeps saying that I am not charging enough for my cakes. Thanks ya'll for the lift! icon_rolleyes.gif

Girl, if you don't charge at LEAST $60.00 for that cake, I'm comin' down there to get it myself!! icon_lol.gif

I can get there faster in my cruiser... icon_wink.gif

Also, I've never seen a doll cake laid on a cake like that...that looks GREAT!!

i would charge between $65 and $70 for that...that's a lot of cake and a lot of work....AND fresh fruit...

I don't think $40 is way too much. I would even pay $60.00. That looks like a lot of work.
