I made dragonwarlord's BC last night and I love it!!!!!!!!!! thumbs_up.gifthumbs_up.gif But, it is too soft to do roses and such. icon_sad.gif Any suggestions on what to add to thicken it without totally changing the taste? PS or flour or cornstarch?? Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I would like to use this BC a lot more often!!

I haven't tried it yet, but I would suggest sending a PM to him. I don't see him post as often as he used to, but he is still around.

Sorry I can't help

I love his receipe too! It is all I use now! I don't normally use the full amount of flour called for, you might try that to see if that makes it more stiff. Or maybe decrease the hot water just a little. I guess another option would be to use all-criscoe BC for the roses, or fondant or gumpaste.

Something I found out quite by accident - I didn't have any clear syrup so I used the dark - YUMMY!!!! thumbs_up.gif
