icon_redface.gif ok my bad....I got so carried away worrying about my petit four order for this weekend that I forgot all about my cake order for Sunday. So I started working on it last night. Here's my problem. It's navy blue (to look like the night sky). With a gold fondant moon on top and gold fondant stars around the sides. The border is to be "Fluffy rounded white clouds of buttercream."

How do I do this? Is there a certain tip that I can use to make big rounded piles of white buttercream? Help! icon_cry.gif

I've done it with a tip 10 or 12....or larger if you need them bigger than that. Seems like it was just kind of a "swirly" motion to make the clouds. it was easy.

When I have needed to make a large area of clouds, I have used a decorator bag without a tip, this gives larger and fuller clouds.

I think that I did clouds with a 1A??? It was the biggest round tip I had and I used 'House Buttercream' from the Whimiscal Bakehouse book because it's snow white and very easy to work with.

Have a look at my pics .... I don't know if I did them the way you want to.
