I have been looking at the galleries at the Barbi cakes and they are great. My problem is this: I don't have a wander mold pan but I do have a pyrex bowl. I know people sometimes use these, but I can't find any that specify what they used. I want to see how they come out before I go out and buy the wander mold. Thanks all.

Do you happen to have the 8 cup Pampered chef measuring/mixing bowl? That's what I used for mine.

I also use the Pampered Chef bowl, which worked great. I also baked one eight inch to put under that because my doll was too tall so this made the dress taller.

Now that you mention it, I believe this is what I did as well. I can't remember, it's been so long. icon_redface.gif

I also used the pampered chef bowl with two 8 inch cakes cut to size underneath it.
I have a friend who uses the pyrex bowl and it works great although she also uses the rounds for the height.

I used the Betty Crocker bake and fill. It worked perfect.
