doug's take -- totally fictional (feel free to amend, edit, add to)

It was a dark and stormy night -- the rain was pouring pink poodles.

A mushroom cloud of powdered sugar rose from the mixer as dot's of icing decorated every available surface.

The intrepid Jackie was trying to bring her newest cake creation to life as lighting crackled in the air.

"It's NOT alive!" she cried.

She tried again and again and again and again and ....

No matter how much flour, she couldn't nail it down.

"OH, woe is me! How will this ever live!?!!??!!?"

Being a savy, modern woman, she turned her computer, wiping away a blob of icing newly decorating the screen.

"Surely, there must be info there that will help!"

Multi-hued fingers frantically flew.

Minutes became hours, but the googling was futile!

"NO!!!!!"

Her cry echoed across the room and the net -- no matrix(pricing or otherwise) existed, no forum was found -- nothing, not even a roller, could smooth her forlorn feelings of dispair!

As daylight broke in the east, it dawned on her, "If if can't find the help I need -- I'll make it!"

Turning for assitance to her "good friend", soon to be "fiance" (and hey -- we're waitin' here -- when's the culmination of this process as in wedding?) she began to construct a parallel universe of "bites" of information on making cakes.

- Funny point not related to this. The other day my BF who started my cake obssesion said that I should burn a sign of the cake on my forhead an claim myself a drone to this site (as I spend more time with my computer now than him) What a wonderful sense of humour
