I have an order for a bridal shower cake with calla lillies on top. I have never done calla lillies and do not even know where to begin. Can anyone out there help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a question too. do you have to do them from gum past or can you use mmf?

You can make them from fondant.

I used a heart cutter to make mine and they turned out great. (see the wedding cake in my photos.)

I recently did a bridal shower cake with cala lillies also. The pic is in my photos. I used a gumpaste fondant mixture but I have also made them with just fondant. I also used a heart cutter and then trimmed them to what I needed. Pretty easy to do. thumbs_up.gif

I've only used gumpaste but a good fondant could certainly be used. This is the easiest flower to make in my opinion. I cut my freehand in a pear shape but with a pointed top.
