I am making the Dora chara. cake and tinted the blue too dark - Is there any way to make it lighter???
Add some more of your untinted icing.
Do you have any white icing left? Just mix a little in until you get the right tint.
Take some of your too-dark icing and add it to a bunch of white icing, 'til you get the color you want.
