Does Walmart carry styrofoam to make dummy cakes? I'm trying to check out all my local places before I spend a lot on shipping.

For a real cake dummy you can't find it at any Walmart. But you can put styro circles together (4 - 1 inch high 8 or what ever size you want) with glue. That may work. I personnaly like the real dummies.

I've not seen it at my local Wal-mart but they could carry it the bigger stores.

Hold the phone--I just typed something about a website that I thought was a great deal, but after I did a 'hypothetical' purchase so that I could see the shipping they charge 11.00 to ship a .65 circle!!! Nevermind!! Get ahold of one of the 40% off coupons and head to your craft store or the Dollar Tree sometimes carries the floral rounds and such...

I posted this before but really try the dallas foam site it is cheap and shipping is quick. Here is a pic I posted with the site info and showing what I got and for how much including shipping! Read down the posts for the site info I posted.

i almost ordered from dallas foam, but the shipping on $20 worth of dummies was another $20! so i spent $40 on my dummies at my local cake store, and skipped waiting for it to arrive. i got the same amount and sizes of dummies that i was going to order online.

i just buy some two inch layers at home depot or lowes, cut to fit- tape or hot glue with low temp glue; ice as needed.
